Returns & Exchanges

If you are a customer in the EU, you have the right to cancel your order with us under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (ICACRs).

 

HOW TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE

 

We wish to ensure that a return and/or exchange is easy to do. You can send back you items within 7 days of receipt of your order. In order to do this, please follow the given steps of the RMA process:

  • Log in and access your Slacks & Co. account online (www.slacksandco.com)
  • Go to the "Orders History" section
  • Select the order from which you wish to return an item
  • Select the product(s) that you wish to return by checking the box next to the item name(s)
  • Add a comment, why you wish to return this product - (Optional)
  • Once the form is complete, click on "Make an RMA slip" and the request will be sent to the Slacks & Co. Team.
  • The request now appears as "Waiting for confirmation" in your "Return Merchandise Authorization" page
  • After your request is confirmed you will receive an email indicating that the product can be sent back to the Slacks & Co. warehouse.
  • Please put all the items in the original plastic packaging in the Slacks & Co. paper bag and return in a protected/waterproof postal bag/ box. Remember to include the original delivery/order confirmation note. All items must be unworn, unaltered, unwashed with all tags attached and in a re-saleable condition.
  • Please peel off the returns address below and attach it to your parcel.
  • Please return by a trackable postal service with adequate insurance to cover the goods on their journey back to the Slacks & Co. warehouse and retain proof of postage
  • Once the Slacks & Co. warehouse has received the item(s) the RMA status will change in your account to “Package received” and the Slacks & Co. team will refund you your money
  • Finally, once the whole process is completed and you have been refunded the RMA status will changed to “Return completed”

We recommend that you insure the return shipment as you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and will be liable for damage to the item until we receive them at our warehouse. We also recommend that you use a secure, trackable means to return your order and that you retain proof of sending, in case of a dispute. For items being returned internationally (i.e. outside of the EU), please ensure relevant customs paperwork is marked with “Returning for Refund” to avoid any delay and costs in processing your refund.

The item(s) you wish to return must be in perfect condition (re-saleable), unworn, unaltered, unwashed and in their original, undamaged plastic packaging with the labels/tags still attached in the card envelope provided with suitable protective packaging on the outside. Items considered to be in an unsuitable condition or returned outside of the 14 day period will be sent back to you.

FAULTY ITEMS - If the item is faulty, please provide the details why. Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items. If you would like to exchange your item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. You will receive a full refund if the item cannot be repaired or replaced.

If the fit of the item isn’t right and you wish to exchange it, please let us know your replacement size.

The refund will automatically be issued to the card in the original currency used to make the original purchase. Refunds may take up to 10 business days to show up in your account once payment has been made to you.

 

EXCHANGES

If you wish to exchange items for a different size, based on stock availability, then please follow our returns procedure to return the incorrect items and we will send your exchange item(s) out to you.

IMPORTANT – As we do not store your card details so we will contact you by telephone once we receive your returned items to take payment for your exchange item.

 

CANCELLING YOUR ORDER

If you are based in the EU under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (ICACRs), you have the right to cancel your order with us, provided that you give us written notice within 14 days of receipt of the item(s).

  • If you choose to cancel your order with SLACKS & CO. LONDON LTD, you must let us know in writing that you wish to cancel the entire contract. Please email customercare@slacksandco.com quoting the Order Confirmation/ Dispatch number that we sent to you by email. You must the follow the normal RETURNS procedure.
  • We recommend that you insure the return shipment as you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and will be liable for damage to the item until we receive them at our warehouse. We also recommend that you use a secure, trackable means to return your order us at our returns address stated below and that you retain proof of sending, in case of a dispute.
  • Please note that you must cover the cost of the return shipment
  • In all cases, the goods must be unused, in their original condition, and packaging, and will be inspected on their return.
  • We will refund the value of your order, including shipping costs, within 30 days of receiving notice of contract cancellation. If we do not receive the cancelled order, we will arrange to have it collected from you at your cost.

Please note you may only use your right to cancel the order under the ICACRs if you give us formal written notice of cancellation within 14 calendar days of receiving the order as described above.

 

RECEIVING A REFUND

Just send the unwanted item(s) and Return Form back to us within 14 days of receiving them. We will only refund the cost of postage where the item returned is faulty or where we have sent you the incorrect item.

The item(s) you wish to return must be in perfect condition (re-saleable), unworn, unwashed and in their original, undamaged plastic packaging with the labels/tags still attached. Items considered to be in an unsuitable condition or returned outside of the 14 day period will be sent back to you.

Once we receive your returned parcel we will inspect and process it within 1-2 working days. Once we are satisfied that the item(s) are in their original condition we will send you an email confirming the action we have taken.

Your refund will automatically be issued on the card used to make the original purchase. Refunds may take up to 10 business days to show up in your account once payment has been made to you. This can vary greatly between card issuers, and unfortunately we are unable to influence this.

Please retain proof of postage – and we recommend appropriate insurance cover – as we cannot accept responsibility for any items lost in transit.
